The cost of plastic surgery in the UK has risen considerably over the past decade, placing many procedures out of reach for patients who need or want them. Turkey offers internationally trained surgeons operating in modern, accredited hospital environments at costs that are typically half to a third of equivalent UK private fees. The techniques are identical rhinoplasty in Istanbul uses the same surgical approaches as rhinoplasty in London. The difference is the cost of operating in each country, not the quality of what is delivered.

Rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty
Surgical reshaping of the nose to improve proportions, correct breathing difficulties or address size, shape or symmetry. Septorhinoplasty combines cosmetic reshaping with correction of a deviated septum, improving both appearance and airflow. Turkey has a strong track record for rhinoplasty with naturally proportioned results. Recovery typically takes one to two weeks before returning to normal activity.
Breast augmentation, uplift and reduction
Breast augmentation uses implants to increase volume. Uplift (mastopexy) repositions and reshapes the breast without implants. Augmentation with uplift combines both. Breast reduction removes excess tissue to relieve discomfort and improve proportion. All are performed under general anaesthetic with a two-night hospital stay. Recovery is typically one to two weeks.
Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty)
Removal of excess skin and fat from the abdomen, often combined with repair of separated abdominal muscles. Particularly effective following significant weight loss or pregnancy. Often performed alongside liposuction for a more complete result. Recovery is typically four to six weeks.
Mummy makeover
A combined procedure addressing the changes pregnancy brings to the body, typically combining abdominoplasty, breast augmentation or uplift, and liposuction in a single surgical session. Reduces overall recovery time compared to staging the procedures separately. Available with or without implants.
Liposuction and body contouring
Removal of localised fat deposits from areas including the abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, back and double chin. Available as single zone, multiple zones or full body. Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) uses fat harvested by liposuction and injects it into the buttocks for natural augmentation without implants.
Facelift, neck lift and facial rejuvenation
Full facelift tightens and repositions facial tissues to address sagging skin, jowls and deep lines. Neck lift targets the lower face and neck specifically. Mini facelift is a less invasive option for earlier-stage concerns. All focus on natural, rested-looking results. Recovery is typically two to three weeks.
Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty)
Upper blepharoplasty removes excess skin from the upper eyelid that can cause a heavy or tired appearance and sometimes affects vision. Lower blepharoplasty addresses bags and loose skin under the eyes. Both procedures can be performed under local anaesthetic as a day case.
Ear correction (otoplasty)
Surgical reshaping or repositioning of prominent ears, performed as a day case under local anaesthetic. Results are permanent. Recovery involves wearing a headband for a short period after the procedure.
Arm lift, thigh lift and body lifting
Arm lift (brachioplasty) removes excess skin from the upper arms following significant weight loss. Thigh lift addresses loose skin on the inner or outer thighs. Often performed alongside bariatric patients who have achieved major weight loss.
Gynecomastia (male breast reduction)

Planning your surgery in Turkey
Most plastic surgery procedures require a hospital stay of one to three nights followed by a few days in a hotel before flying home. The total time in Turkey is typically five to seven days. Full recovery takes longer, often two to four weeks depending on the procedure, but patients are not required to remain in Turkey for the full recovery period. After the minimum hospital stay, you can choose to continue recovering at the hotel, extend your stay, or return home based on your surgeon's guidance and your own preference. Hotel accommodation is arranged separately, giving you full flexibility on length of stay. We also recommend taking out private travel insurance before travelling. While treatment is planned in advance, unexpected situations can arise, and appropriate insurance means you can access care for any unrelated medical issue without unexpected costs.
